Bought this as a present for my 4 yo grandson. (He is well advanced for his age and loves football.) He and his father read a few pages every night before bed (and often during the day too.) They both love it! (Dad's 42.) It doesn't have many of today's players in it, but my grandson recognizes a lot of the names. And he loves that the book tells you the "name" of the game the stat was earned in, or what the play became known as, and often has pictures of the game that earned that player the stat being discussed. It also tells more backstory about the player than just the stat being discussed. It has "fun facts" on the pages and often has team stats too. There is a lot of history in this book. I've been told that I did good when I picked this one out!

We ordered this book for our 8 year old who has a recently newfound obsession for football! It's a great book highlighting not just current NFL superstars, but also features amazing NFL athletes of the past (Barry Sanders, Joe Montana, Cris Collinsworth just to name a few). I especially like that each page is highlighted with a question about what that respective player is best known for. It will be a fantastic addition to his football library!

I'm sure this book is exactly what some people are looking for but wasn't what I needed. He devotes most of the book to stuff that very few people would be interested in and doesn't cover normal DIY solar topics in depth. Buy this book if you're into stuff like lithium batteries for your solar storage, if you want to build your own lithium batteries, if you want to build your own solar panels, if you need a solar panel for your electric bicycle, etc. Don't buy this book if you want information for setting up a solar system that will handle a DC fridge and a few AC appliances. He's mostly on an off-beat path.

But misses on more advanced topics like Battery Management for Li-ion batteries (author is a big proponent of Li-Ion). Also clearly more familiar with 12 & 24. Volt systems than the larger 48V setups. Regular mentions of needing circuit protection (fuses or breakers) which is good common sense.Racking and mounting panels is only very lightly touched on. Mentions of wire gauge concerns vs amperage - but no tables or details that would help people correctly size runs distances vs voltage and current. No mention of Li-Ion batteries and their low temperature or overcharging concerns. No mention of days of autonomy - maybe not an issue where the author lives, but certainly is elsewhere where the sun doesnt shine every day.As a DIY off-grid solar user who built and installed his own system with Li-Ion batteries, i didn’t learn anything new - but i could see someone who is new to solar and interested in small to medium scale solar this would be a good book to start with. For the price its a good deal, with some minor additions it would be excellent.Also a table of contents is not available in the Kindle edition.

Very disappointed with both books DIY Lithium batteries and DIY solar power. Large print, less info. The DIY in the title made me think that the books would have sources for all the components and relative pros/cons of each. Thought there’d be actual wiring diagrams with actual components. Save your $ and just google starting with general queries and then specific ones once you understand how the systems are put together and work. YouTube videos would also be much more useful than these two books :-(

Mostly very good and appropriate for a novice. There are a few places that could have used drawings or diagrams and a couple of the existing drawings could have been a little clearer. Even though I am far from a novice, I did learn some things and it will make a good reference. The passive projects section especially had some ideas and approaches that were new to me and very helpful.

Micah Toll does a fantastic job of explaining the basics of solar power systems. He uses clear descriptions and usable real world examples to explain the concepts behind solar power. This book is an excellent companion to his other title about building lithium battery packs. Both books are well worth reading.

Received the guide to Solar Power and PV cells.Micah Toll is known to me well and I have his other guide on Lithium Batteries.This a well documented guide and , simple to read and understand by people who are into PV cells and Solar chargers.Thank you.

Focus too narrow on two salons, does not survey the changing freedom of men to wear hair longer, in tails, in buns, in curls. Ultimately boring.

I bought for my friend.

This is an amazing book on how wealthy metrosexual men are able to use an industry that has been traditionally understood as feminine. The working class women employed in these industries have to perform emotional labor to pump up the masculine egos of these upper-class heterosexual men. What's also interesting is that having the money to be pampered as a sophisticated metrosexual is a form of class bullying that other men can't afford nor replicate. Liberals often don't understand this form of masculinity and its class nature. Instead, they code it as sophisticated and civilized, a coded classist way of understanding men. I highly recommend this book.

Every time I go get my haircut, I now think of this excellent book.In it, Dr. Babar highlights how gender and class play a part in (re)producing inequalities within the men grooming industries. One of my favorite part of this book was Dr. Babar's analysis of how interactions and encounters take place within the sphere of a men salon. I have new insights about the labor work that is preformed within this space. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in studies of gender, beauty, masculinity, and labor work. This was a great read.

Beckett was adorable and his thoughts, while he was nervous, were hilarious. The story was cute, well written, and progressed at an even pace. I truly enjoyed the heartwarming plot, and I'm hoping that, Enid, has a story soon. =)

As usual JD Light does an amazing job making the story come to life. I am always so engrossed in these books that I stay up half the night reading them - I always get them the moment they’re released! You won’t be disappointed.

The shifter hero in this story is a wolf, so why is there a tiger on the cover? The Chosen hero has dirty blond hair, so why do neither of the men on the cover have dirty blond hair?That opener to my review should tell you how sloppy this author gets. Throughout this series, I keep encountering paragraphs where I have no idea who did what, due to careless use of pronouns, and actions by characters who were not introduced during scene-setting.I love the high level arc of the series plot, but sometimes I feel like this is a case of an amateur who purchased the concept on a trade site, and is not up to executing the details at the same level as said arc's plot, at this pace.Girl, get a proofreader! If you have proofreading as part of your process, they're letting you down in a major way.

Another sweet and fluffy love story of a Shifter funding his Chosen. I love the characters in this series and the light drama, heavy sweet mix that is found between these pages. When I am having an emotional day or just read an intense and heavy book and need a HEA, yummy kisses and little to no angst.. I reach for a book in the Chosen series. This book joins the rest of the series as part of my happy place. Definitely recommend.

This book had me in stitches. I find in this series that though there is a generally clear divide between the Character interactions, it does not always seperate scene changes so it can be hard to follow. However with these two It was such a good flow I didnt have a problem. I can say that J.D is hella funny because Beckett had some sayings that had me literally sitting at 2am laughing out loud. Great read.

A good read is always book number 20 , I love JD Light for this series . Beckett and Grayson another great couple this time dodging bullets along with some angst and as always a great HEA

They were so sideways and upside down in their lack of understanding it was cute. I am more excited to see what comes next though.
